Jennifer Wohlschlegel grew up in small town Corpus Christi, Texas. She moved to College Station where she studied dietetics at Texas A&M University, and majored in nutritional sciences. After successfully completing her bachelor’s degree, she pursued a dietetic internship program with Penrose Hospital and ventured to Colorado. Jennifer completed her route to becoming a dietitian, and then asked herself “what’s next?”
Passionate about helping others and making real health improvement in lives, she decided not only to take on a full time role at a residential treatment center as the nutritional services director, but also to start her own business in nutritional consultation for individuals and facilities with Comprehensive Nutrition Needs. Jennifer feels fulfilled by coaching and educating dietary changes in others by creating small, realistic goals for permanent health improvements. Sound nutrition advice is so vital for our everyday lives, and can either make us or break us. Jennifer works to provide real, evidenced based, nutritional advice to her clients to improve their lives.
In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding and traveling the world with her boyfriend Mark. She also volunteers with Senior Hub, offering companionship for seniors in need. She is a foodie, and often cooks and creates her own recipes to share with others. To Jennifer, nutrition is not only a career but also a personal lifestyle choice!
